How We Work With Couples
Couples therapy at Little Big Journeys offers a safe, structured space for you and your partner to explore what's working, what's not, and what could be better. Using evidence-based approaches like the Gottman Method and Imago Relationship Therapy, sessions focus on improving communication, rebuilding trust, and deepening emotional connection. Whether you're in crisis or just feeling disconnected, we meet you where you are.
Our Approaches for You
We draw on several evidence-based therapy approaches to support couples. Each is tailored to your unique situation.
What to Expect
Your first session is an opportunity for both of you to share your perspective in a safe, neutral space. Your therapist will ask about your history as a couple, what brought you to therapy, and what you each hope to gain. From there, we'll develop a plan together. Most sessions involve both partners, though individual sessions may be offered when helpful. You'll leave each session with practical insights and tools to practice between appointments.
